Mapping GPX navigation data
This article samples a Europe map with multiple base layers (Google, Bing, OpenStreetMap,Yahoo); on top of base layers 3 sample GPX files overlay are shown:
Zoom into each country to view the sample navigation tracks:
- Czech Republic (yellow solid line, 8 pixels width, 70% opacity )
- Austria (orange dash-dot line, 2 pixels width)
- Netherlands (car icon, red line, 90% opacity).
Note: The first two GPX tracks contain only geographical information, no additional details. The Netherlands GPX file displays both tracks and waypoints width route details (click on each track element to see additional information).
