Placemarks Clustering

Email Print PDF

Placemarks clustering allow you display points representing clusters of features within some pixel distance. Instead of displaying the placemarks from within a search radius, a single icon (marker) will be shown, together with the number of placemarks found there. Zooming the map in/out will re-compute the clusters accordingly.

You can control the behavior of the cluster strategy by setting its distance and threshold properties. The distance determines the search radius (in pixels) for features to cluster. The threshold determines the minimum number of features to be considered a cluster.
